Configure Parameters for IO

After importing a AVEVA Recipe Management model into the Galaxy, you need to configure the parameters to point to external IO points before you can deploy and use the object.
You can use object attributes at run-time to assign Formulas and download them or to assign Recipes and execute them. For more information, see the AVEVA Recipe Management object help, which is available from within the object editor.
The format for an IO reference is no different than that for AVEVA Application Server.
To configure the Parameters
-
In the Deployment view, select the AVEVA Recipe Management object you want to configure.
The Object Editor appears with the parameters and their information retrieved from AVEVA Recipe Management. -
Enter the IO References for each parameter. Most parameters are optional, but you must enter an IO for the Target parameter. You get an error message saying the object can't be deployed if Target is left blank.
Click the IO References button to browse all the IO references in your plant.

Possible reasons for the AppObject error state
The following is a list of reasons why the Application object will be placed in an error state:
-
_ServerNodeName is empty
-
Equipment Model is empty
-
The Equipment model stored in the Equipment model attribute is not approved
-
The Target IO References for the parameter are empty
-
The IO references for the Variable are empty or invalid
-
One or more control status IO references are set to "---"
-
For Equipment, all IO references are optional. If ControlReset and/or Status Idle are defined then all except StatusStopped become mandatory.
-
For Equipment operation whichever control/status are configured for the Capability are mandatory
