You can minimize the configuration errors when creating a duplicate OPCUA server connection configuration, by importing the deployable OPCUA server connection configuration. You can save the configuration as a backup file and can use it, for example, if the ASB Repository database is under maintenance. The configuration file is a .aaSCfg file, which you can import from one Repository to the other. The exported configuration file contains information of the OPCUA server parameters, the Namespace aliases, except the Node details.

Export OPCUA Server Configuration

To export OPCUA Server configuration

  1. Right-click the Configuration node, and then click Archive Configuration Set.

  2. In the Configuration Set Name dialog box, name the file, and then click Archive to save it with .aacfg and .config extensions.

Note: These files will get saved to C:\ProgramData\Wonderware\OI-Server\$Operations Integration Supervisory Servers$\OI.GATEWAY\OI.GATEWAY.
