AVEVA™ Recipe Management

View Parameter Details

The Parameter details page appears when you click the View Parameters button on a View By Equipment or View By Recipe page. In the case of View By Formula, click the Details button. The Parameter details page displays a grid and a list of information.

You can also do a basic as well as advanced filter. You can use the Advanced filter by parameter name, data type and show modified only options.

Parameter Details Page for Formula

The Parameter details page appears when you click the Details button under the Parameters column on a Reports By Formula page.

The Parameter details page provides the following information related to the Downloaded Formula:

  • Name of the Formula

  • Version number of the Formula

  • Status of the Formula

  • Batch Size

  • More Details icon

    NOTE: Click the More Details More_Details icon to view the Completed At, Downloaded By, and Equipment details such as, Equipment name and version number details. It can also display other Key/values of context information in some installations.

The Parameters Details page displays the different Equipment Parameters in the following tabs: General, Input, and Output. Besides these nested tabs, additional nested tabs appear under the Parameters tab if you have user defined Parameter Groups. Group tabs are only displayed if they contain parameters. If the group is deleted, it will be marked with an asterisk (*).

NOTE: If you rename a group name, then the existing and new Recipes/Formulas using the group will have the new group name.

These Parameters tabs consists of the following columns:

  • Parameter

  • Data Type

  • Original Target

  • New Target

  • UOM

  • 0 or more columns for each associated Parameter Extension - in the format:

    • Original Ext1

    • New Ext1

      NOTE: In the detail grid, the Equipment Parameters are displayed.

By clicking on the column heading, you can display the column contents in ascending or descending order.

You can filter the grid by Parameter name using the basic filter text box at the top of the grid. The advanced filter is visible when you click the funnel icon and allows you to filter by Parameter, Data Type, and show modified only.

Once you have set your filters, the icon appears in the status bar at the bottom of the screen indicating the filter is on.

To clear the filter in the text box, click X.

Parameter Details Page for Recipe Instances

The parameter details page appears when you click the View Parameters button in the Parameters column on a Reports By Recipe Instances page. The parameter details page provides the following information:

  • Name of the Recipe Instance

  • Version number of the Recipe Instance

  • Status of the Recipe Instance

  • Batch Size

  • More Details icon

    NOTE: Click the More Details More_Details icon to view the download completed time and date details, started by user name and the associated Equipment name and version number and assigned Formula name and version number details. It can also display other Key/values of context information in some installations.

      NOTE: In the detail grid, if viewing Recipe history, the Capability Parameters are displayed as per the order of execution and no Equipment Parameters are displayed. If viewing Formula history, the Equipment Parameters are displayed.

Parameter Details Page for Equipment

The parameter details page appears when you click the View Parameters button in the Parameters column on a Reports By Equipment downloaded Formulas page. The parameter details page provides the following information:

  • Name of the Equipment

  • Version number of the Equipment

  • Status of the Equipment

  • Batch Size

  • More Details icon

    NOTE: Click the More DetailsMore_Details icon to view the download completed time and date details, started by user name and the assigned Recipe name and version number and assigned Formula name and version number details.     NOTE: If you have executed any Capability parameters that have the Optional Target value set to Yes, then both the Original Target and New Target values will be blank and the Actual value will depend on the value entered during execution if the Ack on Exit is set to Yes or it will be 0 if the Ack on Exit is set to No.

  • Actual

    NOTE: Only Capability parameters will have Actual Values recorded in history.

  • UOM

  • 0 or more columns for each associated Parameter Extension - in the format:

    • Original Ext1

    • New Ext1
