Configure the Event Service Instance

After you have created an instance of the Event Service, you can configure its parameters in the Event Service configuration area.

To configure the instance of Event Service

1. Right-click the Event instance name, and click Check-out.

2. Configure or modify the instance parameters as follows:

   1. In the TCP port box, type the port number.

   2. In the Event Buffer Size box, specify the buffer size of the event.

3. In the Assignment area, select the node and then click Update.

4. Right-click the instance, and then click Save And Check-in.

Rename the Event Service Instance

You can rename an instance of the Event Service.

To rename the Event Service instance

5. Right-click the configuration instance that you want to rename and then click Rename.

6. Specify the new name and then press Enter.

Delete the Event Service Instance

You can delete an instance of the Event Service.

To delete the Event Service instance

7. Right-click the configuration instance that you want to delete and then click Delete. A confirmation message appears.

8. Click Yes.
