Automap Formula Template Parameters

The Auto Map option in the Parameter Map tab allows you to automatically map Capability Parameters in the Recipe Template with the Formula Parameters of assigned Formula Template. Auto mapping is done based on the Formula Parameter name that matches the simple or compound Parameter Map name as mentioned in the following criteria apart from the rules which are enforced for manual mapping. Auto mapping is only done for parameters that have not been mapped. For more information on manual mapping, refer to the Map the Formula Template Parameters topic.

Auto mapping works as follows:

1. First search for a Formula Parameter name that matches the Alias and CapabilityParameter column names (with a dot in between). If there is no match, then go to next search. Otherwise, auto map the parameter.

2. Search for a Formula Parameter name that matches the Capability and CapabilityParameter column names (with a dot in between). If there is no match, then go to the final search criteria. Otherwise, auto map the parameter.

3. Finally, search for a Formula Parameter name that matches the CapabilityParameter column name. If there is a match, auto mapping is performed.

If no match is found as per the above-mentioned criteria, then the Capability Parameter for the Recipe Template will not be mapped and the mapping remains blank.

For example, if in the Parameter Map table, you have the following parameter:

• Capability: Heat

• Alias: Heat_001

• Capability Parameter: Time

Then, to auto map, it is going to search for the following Formula Template parameters in the below-mentioned order:

1. Heat_001.Time

2. Heat.Time

3. Time

To auto map the Formula Template parameters

4. From the Summary page, click the Recipe Templates. The Recipe Templates Details page appears.

5. Click Check Out. Once the Recipe Template is checked out, it returns to the Draft state.

6. Click the Parameter Map tab. The Parameter Map details grid appears.

7. Click the Auto Map button. Once the auto mapping is complete, a confirmation appears.
