Equipment Version Difference Report

The Equipment Version Difference Report is an HTML report that describes the differences between the last two Equipment versions. The report is initially generated with all of the details collapsed. Only the old Equipment name and the version number and the new Equipment name and the version number are shown. You can expand all the sections, or only the ones you want to see. To expand or collapse all sections, use the down (expand) DownArrow and up (collapse) UpArrow arrows at the top of the screen.

To expand a certain section, click the down arrow beside the name of the section. After you expand the section, an up arrow is shown beside the section name.

The report is divided into three columns: Element (lists the headers, the element names and the keys of the objects which have been modified), Original Value, and New Value.

The Equipment Version Difference Report includes changes for the following Equipment components:

  • Equipment

    • Name

    • Version

    • Description

    • Author

    • State

    • State Change User

    • Last Checked-in

    • Last State Change

    • Propagate Status

  • Parameter Extension Changes

  • Equipment Capability Changes

    • Capability Parameter values

    • Name

    • Parameter Group

  • Equipment Parameter Changes

    • Equipment Parameter

    • Parameter Group

Under each section, the components’ related elements are described if they have been added, modified, or deleted. These sections and their related elements correspond to the similar objects in the Equipment Editor.
