Warm starting a Recipe

  • Last UpdatedMay 08, 2017
  • 1 minute read

A warm start is when an Equipment’s Execution Engine starts with an initial state of “Running”.

  • Recipe will warm start into Requesting Hold.

    • Active Capabilities will sync with the status IO, and then get sent to Requesting Hold if supported.

    • Active Capabilities that can't sync with the reported status IO will transition to the Unknown state.

  • Formula Downloads will sync with the status IO.

The following table defines invalid transitions:

WarmStart

where X - Normal execution, Capability will log warnings and ignore status (No State Change).

or W – Warmstart, Capability transition to the Unknown state.
