You can set an approved Formula to Not Allowed so that it is not available for selection on the Execution page. Unlike making their state Obsolete, not allowed Formulas will still be visible on the Formulas summary page with a Use Not Allowed label next to the status on their tiles.
To set a Formula to use Not Allowed
-
Click the Set Use button on the details screen. The Set Use dialog box appears.
-
In the Use list, click Not Allowed.
-
Click Set.
You can also set multiple Formulas to use Not Allowed from the summary page by clicking the Multi Select icon and then selecting the Formulas you want to change using the Set Use button.
You can only set Formulas to use Not Allowed if the Formulas are checked in. You must have permission to change the use settings for Formulas. For more information on permissions, see Working with Roles.
Each version of a Formula can have a different Set Use setting. A new version of a Formula starts with the same Set Use setting as the previous version. For more information about versions, see "Versioning" in Basic Concepts.
