Add a Recipe

You can add a new Recipe based on the available Recipe Templates and Formulas that belong to the Formula Template which in turn is assigned to the Recipe Template. Make sure that the Recipe Templates and Formula that you want to use to create a Recipe are checked-in.
NOTE: Make sure that you use a Recipe Template that is valid. A validation error occurs if the Recipe Template is invalid and execution of the Recipe is not allowed.
To create a Recipe

From the Main menu, select Recipes to show the Recipes Summary page.
All existing Recipes are shown as tiles. -
Click the Add button. The Add Recipe slide-in window appears.

Select the assigned Recipe Templates from the list and then the corresponding Formula to create a unique Recipe.
NOTE: The Add Recipe dialog box displays only those Recipe Templates for selection which do have a Formula Template assigned and the assigned Formula Templates have at least one active Formula.

Click Add. The Recipes details screen appears with a default name that you can change.
NOTE: The Recipe name cannot exceed 128 characters.

In the Description box, you can enter a description for the Recipe.

On the Done By/Check By Settings tab, click the Override global settings check box to override the default done by/check by settings for Recipe. For more information, refer to Overriding Done By/Check By Settings.

After you have added all your details, check in your Recipe by clicking the Check In button.

Specify the state of your Recipe by clicking the Set State option. You must have permission to change the Recipe state.

Click the back arrow icon to return to the Summary page. All the changes are updated in the Recipe tile.
