Installing Recipe Manager Plus

Using User Account Control (UAC) Enabled Operating Systems with Recipe Manager Plus

When User Access Control is enabled on your Windows operating system, a security prompt is shown when you start the installation.

If necessary, enter the administrative user credentials to allow the installer to proceed.

Installing Recipe Manager Plus

You must be logged on to the computer as a user with administrative privileges to install Recipe Manager Plus.

To install Recipe Manager Plus features

1. Insert the Recipe Manager Plus CD into the CD-ROM drive. The installation program runs automatically. If your network or company security policy does not permit autorun, browse the root directory of the CD and run setup.exe. The Recipe Manager Plus Installation Wizard starts.

   

2. The installation program detects and installs the initial system requirements. For more information on specific system requirements, see the Wonderware Recipe Manager Plus Readme.

   

3. Click Yes to install the system-specific prerequisites. After installing the initial system requirements, the License Agreement dialog box appears.

4. Read the license agreement. You can print a copy of the license agreement for your records using the Print icon.

   

5. Click I accept the license agreement and then click Next. The Wonderware Recipe Manager Plus Installation dialog box appears.

   

6. Select the check boxes to indicate which features you want to install.

   You can click Browse to change the destination folder where the program will be installed.

   If you select ArchestrA Single Sign-On Service feature for installation, it will install ArchestrA Identity Manager which helps in managing authentication and Recipe Manager Plus client information. It also installs ArchestrA Certificate Manager features that will generate/import SSL certificates. You must configure ArchestrA Identity Manager with the SSL certificate selected.

   If you select Schneider Electric Licensing feature for installation, the installer will check and install prerequisites for Schneider Electric Licensing also. For more information on Schneider Electric Licensing, refer to the Schneider Electric License Manager Guide and the Schneider Electric License Manager Online help.

7. Click Next. The Ready to Install dialog box appears.

   

8. Review your installation options and then click Install. The Updating the system dialog box appears and installs all the selected features along with the prerequisites for the selected features.

   After the files are copied, the Complete installation dialog box appears.

   

9. If the installed features require configuration, click Configure. For more information on configuring Recipe Manager Plus, see Recipe Manager Plus Configuration.

   NOTE: It is recommended to restart the computer after you install Recipe Manager Plus when Wonderware System Platform is already installed on the same computer.
