Upgrade Equipment

Equipment are versioned entities and you should upgrade the Equipment if any of the associated Capabilities or the associated Parameter Extensions are updated.
When you update the version of associated Capabilities or Parameter Extensions, it
shows all the Equipment that has used these Capabilities or Parameter Extensions as
upgradeable. An Upgrade 
icon appears on the Equipment tile in the Summary page as well as in details page
of the Equipment next to the version of the Equipment. Also, a new Upgrade button appears on the action bar only if the Equipment is checked out.
To upgrade Equipment

From the Summary page, click the Equipment that is available for upgrade. The Equipment details page appears.

Click Upgrade and then click Check In to upgrade the Equipment to include the latest Capability version or the Parameter Extensions version. You can also view the updated Parameter Extensions detail and the Capabilities in the IO Map tab.
You can click Undo Check Out before checking in the changes after upgrading to revert to the earlier version of
Equipment. The Upgrade icon re-appears at all the respective places.
