Configure Instructions and Documents for a Capability Instance

You can configure documents/instructions for a Capability instance in a Procedure. The instructions added will be available for the operator during execution. You can add, update, or delete documents/instructions only when you check out the Recipe Template.

To add documents

1. Open the Recipe Template details page and then select an instance of the Capability in the Procedure container.

2. Click View Document. The Document View Details sliding window appears.

3. In the Instruction section, do the following:

   1. Instructions: Specify the instructions specific to this Capability for the operator. You can define a maximum of 512 characters for the instructions.

   2. Document Label: Specify a description of the document provided.

   3. Document URL: Specify the URL for the document. In execution, the document content will be displayed. You can open only those document types that are supported by a browser. Make sure that the URL is in the following format: http://www.XYZ.com. If you provide the URL without http, it might not work.

   4. Test URL: Click the Test URL button to verify the given URL.

4. Click Apply.

   NOTE: You can remove the instructions for the selected Capability by manually clearing the instructions or the documents associated with the selected Capability.
