AVEVA™ Recipe Management

View the SSRS Reports

The following Report Templates (.rdl files) are created under the Reporting Services folder where AVEVA Recipe Management is installed i.e. [AVEVA Recipe Management Installed Path]\AVEVA\Recipe Management\Reporting Services.

  • RecipeExecution.rdl - Provides a summary of the Recipe Execution instances within a specified time interval.

  • FormulaDownload.rdl - Provides a summary of the Formula Download instances within a specified time interval.

  • RMPParameterExt.rdl - Provides a listing of the Parameter Extension instances within a specified time interval. This is a sub-report and should not be executed individually.

  • RMPRecipeCapabilities.rdl - Provides a listing of the Capabilities for a Recipe. This is a sub-report and should not be executed individually.

  • RMPExecutionInstance.rdl - Provides a listing of all the Execution instances for a Recipe. This is a sub-report and should not be executed individually.

  • RMPRecipeTransitions.rdl - Provides a listing of all the Transitions for a Recipe. This is a sub-report and should not be executed individually.

  • RMPSequenceOfEvents.rdl - Provides a listing of all the Events including Done By/Check By for a Recipe. This is a sub-report and should not be executed individually.

  • RMPTargetActualExt.rdl - Provides a listing of all the Parameter Target/ Actual/ Extensions for a Capability. This is a sub-report and should not be executed individually.

To view the AVEVA Recipe Management SSRS reports

  1. Open the SSRS AVEVA Recipe Management reports page.

  2. Select the report from the list. The Reports Filter Criteria page appears.

  3. Complete the Filter Criteria form.

  4. Click View Report.

The following details are displayed in the SSRS Reports:

  • The parameters and extensions displayed in the RecipeExecution SSRS report is divided into the sections based on the parameter group.

  • The group name is appended to the header section (Parameter Target/Actual/Extensions (PG_001))

  • The Batch Size and the extra details are displayed in Recipe Header.

Complete the Filter Criteria Forms

You can complete the filter criteria report forms using detailed or general information.

Basic Filtering Criteria

Each report form has the following control options that you can use to affect the data that is returned.

  • Start time and end time

  • Reporting time zone

  • Show filter criteria on the report

  • Show report as expanded or collapsed

    NOTE: Apart from the above-mentioned Filter Criteria, specific filter criteria related to the report are available. For example, for the Formula Download Batch Journal report, you can select a Formula from the Formula List to view the report.

Start and End DateTime

You can specify the start and end date time to view the report. By default, the Start date and time is set to current date and time and the End date and time is set to previous day's date and time.

Reporting TimeZone

You can select the time zone to view the data. By default, AVEVA Recipe Management History Database Server Local Time is selected, which allows you to view the data in the local date and time of the History Server where it originated. The UTC time zone can also be selected, which shows all dates in UTC time.

Show Filter Criteria

You can select whether or not the filter values that you used are to be shown as part of the report.

Show Report as Expanded or Collapsed

You can select whether the generated report is to be shown as fully expanded or completely collapsed. This is only used for Recipe Execution report. If Expanded is selected, the capabilities and Transitions data will be shown in expanded mode.

Generated Report

You can do any of the followings after the generated report appears:

  • Scroll back and forth through the report pages.

  • Zoom in or out.

  • Search for specific data.

  • Refresh the data.

  • Print the report.

  • Save the report to one of the following file formats:

    • XML

    • CSV (comma delimited)

    • TIFF (graphic image)

    • Acrobat (PDF)

    • Web archive (HTML)

    • Excel

      NOTE: Make sure that you print the reports in Landscape mode only. Printing in portrait mode will distort the report.
