Upgrade a Recipe Template

Recipe Templates are versioned entities and you should upgrade the Recipe Template if any of the associated Capabilities or the associated Formula Templates are updated.

When you update the version of associated Capabilities or the Formula Templates, it shows all its linked Recipe Templates as upgradeable. You can see an upgrade icon displayed on the Recipe Templates tile in the summary page as well as in detail page of the Recipe Template next to the version of the Recipe Templates.

NOTE: If you remove the associated Capabilities that have updated versions available from the Recipe Templates, the Recipe Templates are no longer shown as upgradeable.

To upgrade a Recipe Template

1. From the Summary page, click the Recipe Template that is available for upgrade. The Recipe Templates details page appears.

2. Click Upgrade and then click Check In to upgrade the Recipe Template to include the latest Capability version or the Formula Templates version. You can click Undo Check Out before checking in the changes to revert to an earlier version of Capability or Formula Templates and the Upgrade icon will appear again at all the respective places.
