If you are using a domain account for the RtReports service account, then you must configure the application pools to use this identity, as described below.

  1. Run Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

  2. Under Connections, click Application Pools to display the list of application pools.

The list includes the two RtReports application pools:

    • RtReports Admin App Pool runs the RtReports Administration website, located at https://webServer/RtReports/Admin

    • RtReports App Pool runs the main RtReports application services located at https://webServer/RtReports

  3. Right-click RtReports Admin App Pool, and then click Advanced Settings to open the Advanced Settings window.

  4. Under Process Model, click the Identity field and then click the Browse button to open the Application Pool Identity window.

  5. Click Custom account and then click Set to open the Set Credentials window.

  6. Enter the user name and password for the custom RtReports service account, and then click OK to close the open windows.

  7. In the application pools list, repeat these steps for the RtReports App Pool Application Pool.
