Drawing elements

You insert drawing elements within entry elements to create:

• Text and symbols

• Text formatting objects

• Images

• Tables

• Trends

• Additional data journal items

• Report information

Static drawing elements

• Text

  Draws static text on the report.

• Line

  Draws a horizontal line on the report.

• Image

  Includes a graphic within the report.

• Page Break

  Includes page breaks within the printed PDF report. Not visible when viewing a report in the RtReports generator.

• Page Number

  Sets page position within the printed PDF report. Not visible when viewing a report in the RtReports generator.

• Table

• Table Row

• Table Data

  These three elements are used together to build tables within the report.

Dynamic drawing elements

Dynamic drawing elements extract information from the data journal and add data and string information to the report.

• Data

  Adds numeric and string data from the data journal to the report.

• Time

  Adds a Time object from the data journal to the report. By adding 'zz' to any time format, you can display the Time Zone information. For example, in any Time Format text box, update the current time format to: dd-MMM-yy hh:mm:ss AP zz.

  

• UTCTime

  Adds a UTC Time string from the data journal to the report.

• Duration

  Adds a duration string from the data journal to the report.

• Paragraph

  Provides paragraph formatting within an entry element.

• Trend

  Adds a trend to the report.

• Trace Set

  Adds a table directly from data within the data journal to the report.

• Report Info

  Adds report metadata such as name, version, the user who last modified the report, time last modified, and author.

  Generated By Full Name	Full user name of who generated the released report for the first time
  Time Generated	Date and time of when the released report was generated for the first time
  Last Printed By	User name of who last made the official print
  Last Printed By Full Name	Full user name of who last made the official print
  Time Last Printed	Date and time when the report was last officially printed
  Times Printed	Number of times the report was officially printed
