Create local groups

After the RtReportsAdmin group is configured, you can create additional groups on the RtReports server to control user access.

  1. Open the Computer Management utility on the computer to be managed.

  2. In the left pane, expand Local Users and Groups and select the Groups folder.

    The local groups on the computer are listed in the right pane.

  3. Right-click inside the right pane and select the New Group command.

    The New Group window opens.

  4. Enter a name in the Group name field.

  5. Optional: Enter descriptive text in the Description field.

  6. Click Create to create the new group.
