Create unit classes

You can group equipment together as a class and then reference the unit class definition.

Using unit classes in conjunction with unit-relative aliases reduces the number of report templates needed, which reduces testing and maintenance activities.

1. Click Tools > Unit Class Editor.

   The Unit Classes window opens.

2. Click the green plus (+) button above the Unit Class section on the left half of the window.

   The Unit Class window opens.

3. Enter values in the Unit Class Name and Unit Class Version fields.

4. Click OK.
