Table elements

Table elements place tables in a report.

To edit drawing elements, right-click the element node in the format template tree and then click Property.

Table tab

• Node Name

  The node name in the format template tree for the table element.

• Size

  Specifies the number of rows and columns in the table.

Border tab

• Rule

  Specifies the ruling style for table lines between cells.

• Frame

  Specifies the style of line used in the table.

• Cell Padding

  Specifies the amount of space, in pixels, between the border of the cell and the content in the cell.

  A Cell Padding value can be set to Default, 0, or a positive integer. A Default value uses the default browser rendering.

• Cell Spacing

  Specifies the amount of space, in pixels, between table cells.

  A Cell Spacing value can be set to Default, 0, or a positive integer. A Default value uses the default browser rendering.

• Border Width

  Specifies the width of the line used for the table border.

• Border Color

  Specifies the color of the border, and the light and dark colors to be used in a 3D border.

Layout tab

• Alignment

  Specifies the alignment of the items within the table.

• Background

  Specifies the background color of the table.

• Width

  Instead of a default table width, this attribute defines the width of the table, in either pixels or a percent of the total printable space.

• Height

  Instead of a default table width, this attribute defines the height of the table, in either pixels or a percent of the total printable space.

Expressions tab

• Condition

  A condition expression for the table element.

• Iterator

  Defines an iterator expression for the table.

• Iterator Result Condition

  Defines a result condition for the iterator.
