Create or reset the security database

Open a command prompt and navigate to the RtReports\bin folder on the RtReports server.

1. Run the command:

   OSISoft.RtReports.SecuritySettings.exe templatepath piserver

   where:

   • templatepath is the location of the RtReports security database. By default, the file path is \%OSI\RtReports; and

   • piserver is the name of the PI Server you are using to store your report templates.

2. After the command completes, execute an IISRESET on the RtReports server to force it to read the new security database into memory.
