Create read-only PDFs

You can create read-only PDFs in RtReports. By setting the ReportPDFReadOnly (%PIHOME%\RtReports\web.config) to "true", the PDF will be read only and can only be opened when using Adobe X or later versions. When the set to "False," the PDF can technically be edited and be opened with any version of Adobe.

Once the PDF is created, to make the PDF read only, openFile > Properties. Click Security and configure the properties as seen below.
