Test batch reports

1. Open a batch report template from the command menu.

2. Click View > Test Report or press F2.

   The Batch Search window opens.

3. Select the desired criteria to search for batches within the PI Batch Database.

4. Click Search to retrieve the PI Batch results to use in the report template test.

5. Select the Batch ID to use for testing your report.

6. Optional: If your report supports report parameters, and you want to configure them, click Parameters to enter values for the parameters.

7. Return to the Batch Search window and click OK.

   The editor runs the report template against the selected batch.

The generated report opens in the Preview tab and the data journal opens in the Journal tab.
