Section elements

Section elements are the main organizational elements of a format template.

When you create a new report template, RtReports generates a format template with default sections. You can insert and edit additional sections and create user-defined sections for the format template.

When you edit section elements, you will see options that are common to all section element types. You can edit the section elements using the Section Edit window.

Layout tab

• NodeName

  Sets the node name in the format template tree for the section element.

• Font

  Sets font properties for the section element.

• Alignment

  Sets a horizontal alignment position for the section element.

• Verification

  Allows users with the appropriate permissions to verify a parent section element or add comments to it.

  Nested section elements cannot be verified.

Expressions tab

• Condition

  Defines a condition expression for the section element.

• Iterator

  Defines an iterator expression.

• Iterator Result Condition

  Defines a result condition for the iterator.
