Retire report templates or move report templates offline

Retiring report templates ensures that no new reports are run with that template. Retiring a report template is permanent. However, you can still access all reports that were run using the retired template.

Moving a report template offline performs the same function as retiring, but you can bring the template back online.

To retire a report template or move it offline

Open the report template in the editor and open the version manager.

• To retire the report template, click Retire.

• To move the report template offline, click Offline.

• To bring a report template back online, click Release.
