Initial batch search

To configure your batch search settings go to %PIHOME%\RtReports\web.config.

If the setting InitialBatchSearch is set to true, the generator automatically runs a batch search when opening the batch search page, based on the settings below:

• If the setting PreferredSearchMode is set to Default or not set at all:

  RtReports selects a default PI Server by default. If the selected PI Server is migrated, the search is switched to the migrated AF Server/Database.

• If the setting PreferredSearchMode is set to EF and the setting EFEnabled is set to true:

  The default AF Server and the database are selected. The AF server/database selection is persisted between Batch Search/ Report Search/ Automatic Report Generation Pages.

• The default PI Server and AF Server/Database should be set for the user for the application pool RtReports App Pool.
