Compressed Values result definition

The Compressed Values result definition retrieves the recorded values for single or multiple PI tags, aliases, AF element attributes, and event frame attributes, based on the time context settings for each data source definition.

You add and edit result definitions in the Result Definition pane of the Journal Action Edit window. You open the Journal Action Edit window by right-clicking the journal action node and then clicking Property.

Data Parameters

• Data Source

  The PI tag, alias, AF element attribute, and event frame attribute, from which to gather values.

• Filter

  A valid PI performance equation expression to filter the returned compressed values.

• Annotations

  Selecting Yes returns PI tag annotation data to the data journal.

  Selecting No leaves the annotations out.
