Create a PI AF identity and mapping

Perform this procedure for each PI AF server that you want to access through RtReports.

1. Open PI System Explorer.

2. Choose File > Connections.

   The Servers dialog box opens and lists all PI AF servers.

3. Right-click the connected PI AF server and select Properties.

   

4. In the PI AF Server Properties window, navigate to the Identities tab. Right-click and select New Identity.

   

5. Enter the name of the new identity in the Name field.

6. In the Identity Properties window, navigate to the Mappings tab.

7. Click Add.

8. In the Mapping Properties window, enter the RtReports service account that you have created in the Account field.

   

9. Press the magnifying glass to select the service account.

10. In the Select User, Computer, Service Account or Group window, enter the name of your RtReports service account, click Check Name and click OK.

    Your RtReports service account will appear in the Mapping Properties window.

11. Click OK.
