Initialising Connection between AVEVA Point Cloud Manager and MicroStation CONNECT CAD Link

The link is initiated by loading an MDL application.

After you have loaded a project in Point Cloud Manager, you can initialize a connection with MicroStation CONNECT by performing the steps below:

1. Invoke MicroStation CONNECT and load the drawing file that matches the point cloud data.

2. On the MicroStation CONNECT menu, select Utilities > MDL Applications.

3. On the Applications window that is displayed, under Available Applications, select Browse to search for the relevant dll file.

4. Select the lfmRibbonInterface.dll file and then select Open. You should now see the AVEVA Point Cloud Manager tab on the MicroStation Connect menu.

5. Select the AVEVA Point Cloud Manager tab to view the AVEVA Point Cloud Manager tool palette.
