To load the dataset file:

On the Navisworks menu, select Open. A browser appears enabling you to locate the .lfd file.

From the Files of Type dropdown box, select AVEVA Point Cloud Manager (*.lfd) and then select the dataset to be loaded.

Use the Navisworks Append or Merge buttons to append or merge the point cloud with the current drawing file.

Again, from the Files of Type dropdown box, select AVEVA Point Cloud Manager (*.lfd) and then select the dataset to be loaded. This launches Point Cloud Manager automatically and loads the selected dataset into Navisworks.
You can also load multiple datasets in a cloud project. You must have the cloud project loaded and saved in the Point Cloud Manager interface before you load datasets within Navisworks.
To open datasets in a cloud project, on the Navisworks menu, select Home > Open and select the desired cloud project. A window displays the datasets present in the cloud project. When you select the desired datasets, they are then loaded in both Point Cloud Manager and Navisworks.
To view the datasets within Navisworks, select Extents.
