Import datasets

To import a dataset to the project:

1. Go to File > Import a dataset. This imports a Point Cloud Manager Dataset [.lfd] into the current project. Repeat this option to import multiple .lfd files. A progress bar at the bottom right of the interface informs you about the progress of the import.

   When importing a dataset that is owned by another project, the following message is displayed.

   

2. To add the dataset to the project as a reference, select the Load As Reference option. This means you will be able to do everything with the dataset except demolishing data.

3. Select the Do Not Load As Reference option to not add the dataset to the project.
