Before you configure Point Cloud Manager, it is recommended that you comply with the following security standards:

For SQL Database authentication mode, use Microsoft authentication rather than mixed mode as it is a more robust authentication method.

For security and functionality purposes, ensure that the client machine is running a version of Microsoft Windows that is still supported and that all the required drivers are up to date.
