Export clash report

This feature allows you to export a clash report, which will reflect the columns selected on the screen.

You have the option to export clash reports with images or without them.

Important: Before exporting a clash report, you must ensure that the Scale and layout option of the Windows is set to 100%. Having this option set differently will change the layout of the exported report.

To export a clash report:

  1. Select the Export drop-down button on the Clash menu.

Export drop-down options under the Clash menu

You can view the following two options:

    • Export clash report – Select to save a clash report in any of the following three formats: Excel Report (*.xlsx), CSV Report (*.csv) and PDF Report (*.pdf).

    • Export clash report with images – Select to save a clash report in either of the following two formats: Report with images Excel (*.xlsx) and Report with images PDF (*.pdf).

The clash report with images will contain a PointsView and BubbleView image, displaying the clash for that object.

  2. If you have chosen to export the clash report in PDF format, with or without images, you can select an appropriate paper size – A4, Letter or A3 – from Options > Advanced > Clash report > Paper size.

The exported clash report will respect any filters active in the Clash Manager at the time of export, including columns displayed and the tab selection (that is, Total Objects, clashes, unresolved, checked, approved).

The cover page area of the document (Excel and PDF) will help describe the contents of the file, including date, project name, who the report was generated by, the columns the user has selected, drawing files used in this report, the number of each clash type included and a status key.
