The Gateway Options are described below:

Registration
Display angular error (different threshold above 10 meters) - Enable this option to take in to account the distance of the target from the scanner for registration if the target is over 10 meters away from the scanner. Targets at a greater range will have a bigger threshold for target registration.
Perform bundle adjust - Enable this option to recalculate the bundle when using the Register All group function.
Traffic light error thresholds
Amber threshold - Use this option to set the threshold value. Traffic lights below this value will be displayed green. Traffic lights above this value and below the Red Threshold value will be displayed as amber.
Red threshold - Use this option to set the threshold value. Traffic lights above this threshold will be displayed as red.

Conversion
Suppress conversion dialog - Enable this option to suppress the dialogue that asks the user to specify the location directory each time a new set of scans is converted.
Location for converted scans - Use this field to enter the location. This is the default directory where the converted files (.zfc, .int and .png) will be saved to.
Dead angle - Use this option to set the dead angle. This depicts the area that is directly under the scanner that will be clipped out during conversion. This is usually to remove the scanner’s own tripod from view.

Mixed pixel
Apply mixed pixel - Enable this option to significantly reduce the splatter, or spray, effect which arises when the laser scanner's beam switches from one object to another dependant on the number of pixel neighbours and threshold as specified below.
Threshold - Use this option to set the threshold value. As an image is scanned by the algorithm, each pixel in turn becomes the center pixel with eight neighbours. Eight lines are then formed from the center pixel to its neighbours. Another line - the view line - is formed by drawing a line between the centre pixel and the origin. The Rejection Angle is the angle formed between the view line and each of the eight pixel lines.
Number of neighbours - Use this option to set a threshold value for required neighbouring points; if the threshold value is not reached, a pixel is deemed noisy and masked out.

Minimum field of view
Azimuthal - Use this option to set the azimuthal angle. Scans smaller than this angle will not be processed by Point Cloud Manager.
Elevation - Use this option to set the elevation angle. Scans smaller than this angle will not be processed by Point Cloud Manager.

Target picking
Sphere target diameter - Use this option to specify the diameter of spherical registration targets.
Flat target size - Use this option to specify the size of flat registration targets.
