Load BRX files

The BRX files are a part of the Point Cloud Manager installation and are located at the following path:

\Program Files\LFM Software\LFM\brx

Before you attempt to start the link, ensure that Point Cloud Manager is running and a dataset is loaded.

To load the AVEVA Point Cloud Manager BRX:

1. Within the BricsCAD command window, type APPLOAD to open the browser window.

   

2. Select Add application file to select the appropriate .brx file and then select the Load selected application. The brx application is loaded and the Point Cloud Manager tool palette appears in the BricsCAD window.

   

   

3. To initiate communication between BricsCAD and Point Cloud Manager, select the icon below:

   

   The points are displayed in the relative viewpoints in BricsCAD in low density unless you select a pre-selected volume.

4. Select the icon again to suspend the link until the function is re-selected.

To check if BricsCAD is connected to Point Cloud Manager, refer to the Point Cloud Manager header bar.

After the link starts, any screen updates will also have points overlaid, unless points display is turned off.
