To display specific columns in the dataset table, select the COLUMNS button.

Column descriptions:

Status: Hover over the Status icon of a relevant row to view the generation progress

Name: Name of the dataset to be generated

Last Modified: This column is updated whenever a dataset is upgraded, generated or demolished

Date Started/Date Finished: The start date and completion date of a dataset generation

Time Taken: The time taken for a dataset to be generated.

Scans: The total number of scans in a dataset.

When all the checks are successful, resource generation begins. After a complete point cloud dataset and Viewer project is created, you can access the Viewer project through CONNECT.

Upgrading a dataset

Upgrading a dataset enables you to use your dataset with newer features and integrate with AVEVA products, such as AVEVA Everything 3D and AVEVA Point Cloud Manager Desktop.

Only those datasets that have been published through the AVEVA Point Cloud Manager Desktop application need to be upgraded.

To identify published datasets, hover over the Status icon.
