Clash Objects By Defined Volume

Use this option to clash the MicroStation drawing against the volume selected, allowing smaller areas of interest to be clashed individually for added clarity.

To run a defined volume clash check:

1. First, create a volume around an object or more than one object. You should be able to see the data in both interfaces, MicroStation CONNECT and Point Cloud Manager.

2. In the MicroStation CONNECT interface, in the Clashing menu, select the Clash Objects by Defined Volume icon. The clash report is displayed in Point Cloud Manager with the list of clashes. The clash data is displayed in red within the volume defined.
