Any active volume can be added to the Volume Manager. This can be done in two separate ways:
-
On the Volume Selection dialogue, select Add to Manager.
After use, please deselect the function, else all subsequent volume selections will appear in the Volume Manager as 'unnamed volumes'.
-
Make a volume selection. For details, see Volumes.

Select the button shown below. This moves the current volume selection directly into the Volume Manager.

The stored volume appears in the Volume Workspace as an unnamed volume. The Workspace is an area unique to each Point Cloud Manager session which only the individual user can see. It does not have any effect on the project itself until the volume is moved from the Volumes Workspace into the Project Volumes area.
After the volume has been moved from the Volumes Workspace into the Project Volumes area, other people accessing the same project through an SQL Database can see the volume.

Name the volume by right-clicking on it, selecting Rename from the pop-up menu, type a name then press Enter.
If you do not accept the name change by clicking Enter, the title will revert to 'New Volume'.
