Bricsys BricsCAD Link

Data points can be viewed directly within BricsCAD. In operation, Point Cloud Manager and BricsCAD work side by side. All of the existing Point Cloud Manager functionality is still accessible, but at any time, by opening up BricsCAD, the user can view points through their familiar BricsCAD environment. Point Cloud Manager works as a points server to BricsCAD, providing new views dynamically as the user flies around.

After the BricsCAD Link is established, points visible within Point Cloud Manager will also be displayed in each of the BricsCAD views. Each of the BricsCAD views can be zoomed and panned as normal. Point Cloud Manager will detect each of these movements and place its own views to match. Normally, the low-density display will be shown initially, and any selected volumes at high density. The low-density display can be turned off to show just the selected volumes.
