Link S3D to points dataset

When a new plant is created within project manager, the S3D plant environment needs linking to an LFD/LFM file. This needs to be done only once per plant. All subsequent S3D sessions using this plant will access the LFD/LFM directly.

1. Start Smart Plant Project Management.

2. Right-click on the plant to which the LFD/LFM is to be attached.

3. Select New Point Cloud Model Reference.

4. From the Point Cloud Model Reference dialog drop-down menu, select AVEVA Point Cloud Manager Software Ltd and then select OK.

5. In the file browser that appears, select the required LFD/LFM file and select Open.
