Fit Pipe

Uses a Segmentation algorithm to fit a pipe to point data in MicroStation CONNECT.

To use this function:

• Select any point associated with a pipe point cloud. The result is a best fit 3D solid model.

For cloud projects, the CAD link application enables you to make a pipe measurement by using the Measurement Service. On selecting a pipe, a request is made to the Measurement Service in the background, and when the result is available the pipe measurement is displayed in the 3D view.
