The Advanced Options are described below:

History

Enable history - Select this option to enable history operations.

History size - Use this option to specify how many operations to store in the history.

Save backup file after - Use this option to specify after how many operations Point Cloud Manager should auto-save the project backup file (saved in the Temp folder).
Point Cloud Manager auto-saves the project upon closing it; this is not affected by this option.

Show context

Clearance - Use this option to specify the volume padding for Show <item> in Context commands.

Memory
-
Total memory to use - Use this option to specify the percentage of memory available that can be used by all the programs running on your machine (including AVEVA Point Cloud Manager). If this limit is reached, Point Cloud Manager reduces the amount of memory being used. This results in a lower point density being displayed in Point Cloud Manager.

Percentage memory for AVEVA Point Cloud Manager - Use this option to specify the percentage of memory available that Point Cloud Manager can use. If this limit is reached, Point Cloud Manager reduces the amount of memory being used. This results in a lower point density being displayed in Point Cloud Manager.

Import

Import scans in alphanumeric order - Enable this option to import scans in alphanumeric order. Disable to import scans in the order selected.

Maximum simultaneous conversions - Use this option to set the number of scans that can be converted concurrently. By default this is set to (and is limited to) the number of cores available on the machine minus 1.

Loading

Dataset loading behaviour - When set to Load previous datasets, the system loads only the .lfd files that were loaded when the project was last closed. When set to Don't load datasets, the system does not load any datasets within the project when opening that project.

Clash report

Paper size - Use this option to select the appropriate paper size for PDF export of the Clash reports. You can choose any one of the three options – A4, Letter and A3.

Cloud

Maximum simultaneous uploads - Use this option to set the number of uploads that can be done concurrently while uploading to the cloud. The default is set to 8. You can optimise the upload speed by minimising this number.

Maximum simultaneous downloads - Use this option to set the number of downloads that can be done concurrently while downloading to the cloud. The default is set to 8. You can optimise the download speed by minimising this number.
