Add current volume to volume manager

You can add the current volume to the Volumes Manager list after an initial volume is selected. If a secondary point cloud selection is made using the Refine Selection Tool, the resulting volume can be added to the Volume Manager List for project verification work.

Often an initial aligned volume will contain points in the fore/background which may reduce the clarity around the area of interest, the viewpoint can be rotated to allow the close picking of points only relating to project needs.

To add the volume to the Volume Manager list:

1. Select the button shown below.

   

2. Alternatively, you can also add a volume to the Volume Manager by enabling Add to Manager on the Select Volume dialog. The selected volume appears in the Volume Manager as an unnamed volume designated as type 'refined' or 'aligned'.

   

3. To assign a relevant volume name, right-click on the volume and select Rename.

4. Then, type in the required name, and then press Enter to save.
