25​.3​.0 Desktop release

We are pleased to announce the release of Point Cloud Manager 25.3.0 Desktop.

This release includes the following enhancements:

• Faster cloud project loading

  The change has been made to reduce the amount of information required when initially accessing the project. This means that projects will open quicker. To combat this, the loading of some resources have been moved to loading of individual datasets. This means a large project can be opened quicker and individual datasets may load slightly slower, depending on size.

• Asset entity browser support

  This enhancement introduces a dedicated Asset Browser panel on the right-hand side of the interface, providing a hierarchical view of an asset library. Projects that have been classified through the admin panel on CONNECT can be intelligently linked to entities within the Asset Entity browser.

• Proxy support for clashing and demolition

  Point Cloud Manager Desktop now supports clashing and demolition operations for cloud projects accessed through networks with proxy server configurations, enabling broader compatibility across enterprise environments.

• Improved measurement performance in cloud projects

  We have significantly enhanced measurement responsiveness in cloud projects. Users will now experience faster feedback when performing measurements.

• Trimble E57 containing sky

  E57 files processed in Trimble RealWorks™ from Trimble scanners will now display sky data within BubbleViews in Point Cloud Manager Desktop. This visual enhancement will also be available in Point Cloud Manager on CONNECT in the upcoming releases.

• Floorplan upload role change

  To simplify CONNECT project setup, uploading floorplans to CONNECT projects no longer requires the Administrator role.
