Export volume

The Export Volume function writes out an ASCII file comprising of the selected volume of points. The desired volume must be added to and selected in the Volumes Manager for this button to be available.

To export a volume:

1. Select the Export Volume button.

   

   This displays the export dialogue shown below.

   

2. In Format, Select ASCII, fill in the Directory location and the desired Project name and select Export Volume.

   After the export is complete the text on the Export Volume button will change to Finished. At this point the dialogue can be dismissed.
