Point Cloud Manager enables you to create laser cross-section floorplans in a cloud project. You can do this by defining a points volume and an extents volume and then upgrading those volumes to a floorplan.

Steps:

  1. Load a cloud generated dataset on the Desktop application.

  2. Select two volumes for points and extents, rename them and drag them under the Project Volumes area.

  3. Then, in the Floorplan entity browser, right-click in the empty space and select New > Laser Floorplan.

Option to create a new laser floorplan

  4. In the dialog that is displayed, add volumes that you want to upgrade to your floorplan and select Next.

    This initiates the publishing process.

On completion you will be able to view your floorplan in Viewer. The laser floorplans are also displayed under the Floorplan tab on refreshing the floorplan entity browser.
