Translation mode

Select Translate to set the flying to translation mode.
Alternatively, hold down the Ctrl key whilst flying in rotation mode. Translation is achieved by moving the cursor within the 3D Window whilst holding down any one of the three mouse buttons.
The following table describes the actions that you can perform in the translation mode:

Drag the cursor horizontally to translate the observation point along the horizontal axis. (Moves left / right) |

Drag the cursor vertically to translate the observation point along the vertical axis. (Moves up / down) |

Drag the cursor vertically to translate the observation point along the into-page axis (Moves forwards / backwards) |
Wheel Mode - Point Cloud Manager Gateway 3D flight control can be changed to wheel mode. This allows simple control by locking out the right mouse button to prevent roll. This is accessible from File > Options > View > Mouse mode situated in the Point Cloud Manager Gateway interface. Other control is as previously described.
