Fit pipe

Use this function to create a best fit pipe in the AutoCAD drawing based on the selected point cloud data.

Select any point associated with a pipe point cloud. The result is a best fit 3D solid model.

For cloud projects, the CAD link application enables you to make a two-point diameter measurement by using the Measurement Service. On selecting the second point on a pipe, a request is made to the Measurement Service in the background, and when the result is available the pipe diameter measurement is displayed in the 3D view.
