The View options are described below:

Points
-
Flying points limit - Use this to control the number of displayed points when navigating in a high resolution volume.

Point size - Use this to increase or decrease the size of 3D points in Point Cloud Manager by moving the slider.

Movement
-
Mouse mode - Select from the following options:
-
Classic - When set to this option, you can rotate the point cloud data in 360 degrees. With a left mouse click, point cloud data rotates around the vertical axis. The middle mouse button rotates the point cloud data around the horizontal axis. The right mouse button rotates data about the page axis.

Classic simplified - Click, hold and drag the left mouse button to rotate data about the vertical axis in 360 degrees. Click, hold and drag the middle mouse button to rotate data about the horizontal axis in 180 degrees.

Orbital - Click, hold and drag the left mouse button to rotate data about the orbit (Z axis). Click, hold and drag the middle mouse button to rotate data about the horizontal axis.

Initial BubbleView direction - Select either Forward to look away from the original scan or Backward to look back at the original scan when using scan sites in the BubbleView.

HyperBubble
-
Quality - Use this option to control the maximum number of scans that Point Cloud Manager will try to render simultaneously when using HyperBubble. Toggle between Normal and High. It is recommended to start using Normal. If you experience good performance with this option then you may wish to switch this option to High. However, this may result in Point Cloud Manager running slowly or the graphics card running out of memory. If this occurs, switch this option back to Normal.

Show horizon - Use this option to toggle the display of the horizon when viewing HyperBubble data. This provides a useful navigational aid to get a better picture of height.

Visibility

Show scan markers - Use this option to toggle the 3D objects that represent the scan sites in the 3D window.

Show radar lines in Gateway registration - Use this option to show the 3D radar line that follows the mouse cursor when in the BubbleView. Mainly used when in the Tile View.

Draw grid - Enable this field to view the Toggle the Grid On/Off button on the Visualisation palette.

Near clipping plane - Use this option to set the limit for the number of points displayed on the screen depending on the distance from the current eye position.

Far clipping plane - Use this option to set the limit for the number of points displayed on the screen depending on the distance from the current eye position.

Orthographic view depth - Select either Medium Range, Long Range or Automatic.

Colours
-
Theme - Use this option to select either Auto, Dark or Light modes. Dark mode represents dark backgrounds and light text. Light mode represents light backgrounds and dark text.

Background in BubbleView - Use this option to select the background colour in BubbleViews.

Background in points mode - Use this option to select the 3D window background colour for when 3D points are displayed normally.

Background in HyperBubble mode - Use this option to select the 3D window background colour for when HyperBubble data is being displayed.

Edge mode - Use this option to select the background colour for when 3D points are displayed in Edge Mode. Toggle between Black (white points on a black background) or White (black points on a white background).
