Actions menu

The Actions tab is displayed either while selecting a volume or while adjusting a current volume. The following features are available with the Actions tab:

  • Spawn

  • Define

  • Select

  • Delete

  • Cancel

Spawn

Multiple volumes can be defined at once with this tool.

To use this feature:

  1. When the blue volume selection box is active, select the Spawn Volume button shown below.

    The arrow adjustment grips change to green to indicate that spawn mode is selected.

  2. Click and drag any of the arrows to spawn a new volume from the existing volume box.

Define

Whilst adjusting the blue volume selection box, the box can be rotated by the mid or end points of the volume.

To select the box rotation point:

  1. Select the icon shown below whilst the blue volume box is active.

    Hovering the mouse over the possible rotation points will display the axis frame as shown below.

  2. Right-click to select the desired rotation point. Any rotation performed on the box after this will be done about the selected rotation point.

    Select

    If multiple volumes are shown for adjustment, select the volume that is to be adjusted using this feature. This feature is activated when spawning a volume.

    To use this feature:

    1. Hover the mouse over the volume for the relevant volume to be highlighted.

    2. Then, click to select the desired volume.

      Delete

      Delete the active volume using this feature. This feature is activated when spawning a volume.

      To use the Delete feature:

      • Select the volume to be deleted, and then delete the volume by selecting the button shown below.

      Cancel

      To cancel the volume selections, select the button shown below.
