AVEVA Point Cloud Manager Quick Start

This Quick Start section provides designers who have CAD backgrounds a quick introduction to common features and typical project requirements.

The features and project requirements are presented in a list format, which should enable the user to follow their own project data.

For detailed information regarding the use of this software, please look at the workflow and reference sections.

Format

Each section has an objective that summarizes the intended result of the procedure. The objective description allows assessment of whether a section is relevant for the desired outcome.

After the objective, the procedure required to complete a section objective is listed. This includes screenshots working through an example of the procedure.

Note: Due to variations in version, menus seen in images may not exactly match what is visible on your screen; however, in such cases, the salient menu selection will always be available.

Layout

The layout is split into sections according to the general categories of AVEVA Point Cloud Manager. These are described below:
